I love how an American says how dangerous cities in Europe are so dangerous. None of these cities would get into the top Ten in America.

To all Americans. Stay AWAY from Europe. Stay at home in safe cities like er Detroit, Southside Chicago, south central LA, Memphis Tennessee...

About 50 years ago, these problems were allmost non existent .

13:03 Whenever you go to a foreign country and somebody comes up to you, tell him (or her), I'm not interested. Get away from me." It's always someone who's trying to get something out of you. If someone comes up to you and says he's a policeman, yell at him, "Get away from me." If he persists, scream, "Police Help."
A guy I know went to Dublin. He told me when he was walking around, a junky would come to him about every 5 minutes and ask for money.
2:30 I went to Athens once. They tried to get my wallet three times. It was always when I was getting and off the tram.
I always carry my wallet chained to my front pocket and identification and credit cards are not in it.
You shouldn't carry your passport on you. Make a copy of it and show that when need be.
In Italy when I was traveling around in car, I stopped to get something to eat, but I remembered I had to get something out of my car and went back. I saw my car that someone was trying to fidget with the electrical system to steal it. Someone was watching me and when he saw me returning he called his accomplice to take off.

I am from Serbia. The information about Novi Pazar is very suspicious. We are not aware that crime is exceptionally high here. Clips used to illustrate Novi Pazar are actually Istanbul.

Being from South America, the crime in all these countries were comparatively trivial. What I hadn't realized was how small most of the cities featured in this video were. The largest is London with eight million and Paris with two million people. The rest hovered around a million or less. Interesting.

London used to be fairly safe until the last few governments began scouring the world for dysfunctional and crime ridden countries from which to import immigrants to carry out their program of population replacenent, 80% of london's original opulation have now been replaced by immigramts or the children of immigrants, who much to the surprise of our dim-witted polititions have brought their nasty habits with them, hence the state of affairs you refer to in the video. Strangely enough there hasn't been much recruiting from Haiti, which would be an ideal source of the sort of people our crazy politicians want to replace us with. The Tory government will find out how grateful we are for their efforts in the elections due to take place later this year.

What does an american know about european cities??! I've lived in Madrid, Porto, Paris, London and I've never been harassed day or night. I used to go out at night in Paris and Madrid, walked alone late at night in Paris, never had any incident. It all depends on the places you walk and your attitude

I live in Sydney, Aus. I've been to many of these cities. Hardly saw an ounce of drama whatsoever. If you have situational awareness, look assertive and don't get involved in local issues, you'll be fine. It's possible to be in these cities as a tourist, for two weeks, and never see a thing out of the ordinary.
Compared with Sydney, residents in European cities are surprisingly well mannered and reserved. I'm sure if you lived there over a period of time, you'd see things for sure. It's the world we live in.

When I was born, there was 10 million Londoners and very little crime, that’s what immigration has done for us

I live in south east London and it’s safe it is true that we have a problem with knife crimes. Nevertheless these crime are MOSTLY gang related and are TARGETED crimes . As long as you live a normal life and keep away from criminal activities I doubt you are going to get killed . I would say the same about Birmingham.

Looks like a bit scare mongering here. I would think places like Malmo, Birmingham and Catania deserve to be in this list. Petty crimes like pickpocketing are common in most tourist places like Paris or Rome. Some violent crime is expected in palces where there is organized crime or ethnic strife. But with common sense precautions you should be able to avoid getting into trouble. Getting too intoxicated and walking in deserted parts of any tourist spot is ill advised.
