Word of advice - you don't need that line - just cut you a line a straight as possible - because that line is not going to stay straight once the grass starts back growing towards the bed - just try to keep it edged or string trimmed - and most beds looked better with a slight curve instead of a straight line - (just my opinion)

To make it even crispier after this, you can put the weed eater on it’s side and edge it, to look even better.

It's got to be at least 4 in deep or the grass will grow right across into the flowers again.

Just use an old gas EDGER. The straight cut is done in less than 5 minutes (after gas and pulling your arm out of socket etc but but but)
