Growing succulents in inorganic media

Hi greenies!
There has been a lot of talk locally about what medium to plant succulents in. I've seen people using a mix of 70% inorganic and 30% garden soil. This just doesn't work for me.
I have developed my own potting mix to use here in Quezon City Philippines where the weather is hot, humidity is high before and after rain fall, air circulation is minimum and growing spaces are limited.
I advocate worry free gardening so I make sure that the potting mixes I use do not require me to run to my plant's aid during heavy rain fall.
Luckily, they have survived through that.
