QSC vs EV vs YAMAHA SUBS And TOPS

QSC is the stuff right now hands down. Been playing live music nearly 25 years and nothing has ever come close to the clarity and musical reproduction ever in a club situation. Small powerful speakers is the right move for anyone that's tired of missing frequencies in the oversized speakers. Have had so many compliments on the sound. Unbelieveably beautiful engineering. Finally... AND IT'S LIGHT AS A FEATHER!!!

Yamaha tops and Subs definitely over QSC & EV

Had the Kw118 which is a great speaker but the DXS18 by Yamaha will perform lower and will go louder than the Kw118. Qsc tops just sound harsh when they are loud....had kws and k12s and they both sounded harsh. Had the Etx15 and they bump but simply fall off on the long run and will not perform according to their specs so thumbs down to Etx. Now for the Yamaha Dsr brands they just take loud and will beat qsc and Ev etx and sound much better. also Kw118 is not a cardiod sub.

ETX EV was clearer sound then the Yamaha but the Yamaha sub gave more punch I think I am still researching what I am going to buy not sure yet jbl or ev or rcf or Yamaha or qsc if you can help me that would amazing 😃👍

Yo no escuche en directo las qsc, pero se habla bien de ellas, si que hice varios eventos en abierto no muy grandes con las yamaha dxr 15 y suenan muy bien, la gente quedo encantada con el sonido.

If you are a private event DJ (weddings/corp events), you will never need more than 2 KW181. Sure the occasional 600+ corporate bash may come along - Bu I get told to turn the bass down so many times with just 1 KW181 in hotel ballrooms. Even at Country clubs and upscale halls - there is only so much bass you'll need. So go with the pound-for-pound pick...KW181. Now - if you're doing clubs and festivals and have a team of roadies - go all out. I Think Yamaha is the best return on investment gear in the world--right behind QSC. Need more bass - go Yam DXS18. Need all the bass you can use - go QSC (or yamaha 15). I use KW181 with Yamaha DXR12s and I used to have k12s - DXR are noticeably better in every way. Sold my DSR115s (very regrettably) but plan to buy DSR112s, DXR10s and 2 DXS12s to round out my rig. So my KW181s are the only non-yamaha piece and chosen over dxs18 bc of their size and more-than-enough performance.

So QSC KW181 saves my back from slip disc.

The qsc seems to suffocate not throw out the bass as if it jmhas limiters; most likely the dimensions of the box limit the qsc and therefore is able to perform undistorted as most mention. Yahama while they may not be experts in amification they know sound. The Yamaha ive been told by band members has better sound for live gigs. On the tops again Yamaha is more antrue sound and ev while sounds clean its a more synthetic sound processed.
