Thank you so much for this video. Because of this video i bought a pair of Yamaha DXR 12. These DXR 12 are unbelievable speakers for the size. I even set up a test between Yamaha DXR and my DB technologies Opera 715dx and i couldn't believe my ears from the sound of Yamaha DXR 12.The performance was so powerful punche clean sound. I love the Yamaha dxr sound so much any one who need a 12 inch that sounds like a 15 inch just get the Yamaha dxr 12. Just unbelievable this dxr 12. Once again thank you for this educative video.🎉

Yamaha has a lot more air in the high end and does not sound nearly as compressed. The Yami has a much taller and wider feeling sound and its crisper that's for sure.

did you eq each speaker to flat prior to comparison or are they running factory preset eq?

The less expensive Yamaha DXR are much better sounding than most other makes and models that are considerably more expensive. Likewise the Yamaha DSR12 sound better than the ETX and SRXP Models. The DZR Yamaha Speakers are in a class all their own.

I thought the opposite because to me, the QSC sounded cleaner & and clearer than the Yamaha..
