Fallout 4 - Unlimited Fusion Core Glitch/Exploit?

I was messing around, doing my thing in Fallout 4 when I happened upon something peculiar.

Q: Why didn't you post for like 4 Weeks?
A: Mostly, lack of ideas and motivation from this COVID thing.

Q: Why did you keep Quicksaving?
A: Force of habit, just in case if I got caught, I could reload, because those BoS guys will kill me.

Q: You're playing on PC, why didn't you use the Hotkey?
A: Yes, I am playing on PC, but I'm using an Xbox One Controller, I'm more used to that.

Q: Why the Tumbnail?
A: Idk, just felt like it and besides, don't pretend you didn't like it.

Q: How do you do that?
A: Max out the Pickpocket Perk, from there you can pickpocket equipped items.

Q: Does this work with everyone in Power Armor?
A: So far, I only seen it work on the Soldiers in the Main Prydwen Area.

Q: Does it work with other BoS Members?
A: I tested this further after I recorded the video. So far, it's only on the Soldiers in the Main Prydwen Area. Make sure they immediately re-enter the Power Armor.

Q: I destroyed the Prydwen, could I still do it?
A: No, but you could still pickpocket Fusion Cores out of the Armor. :)

He didn't get back in he just walked away

every time I steal from any power armor wearing soldier he/she just walks away from the armor and doesnt get back in, how do I fix this?

How do you do this glitch properly because when i nick their fusion core they dont come back
