Power Armour is definitely not necessary I've played the whole game with no power armour, but anyway thanks for the tutorial.

This game isn't built around power-armor. If it was, we wouldn't have layered light/heavy armor. And you can't wear a hat UNDER the armor, (I know you can just take off the helmet, but you don't get as much protection) and a lot of the hats are fucking awesome!

Pick Pocket is a Perception skill...Agility has very little affect but Luck helps a lot.

Hmm...If this glitch is supposed to work, then why did he/she exit his/her power armor when I took the core out? Also 1/4 of my PA comes from the BoS.

3 tips.

1: NEVER use power armor while pickpocketing.

2: you can't be stealthy why wearing power armor.

3: have a gun equiped before you pickpocket him/her. If he/she catches you pickpocketing, and you take away your weapon, there's a chance that the person will give you a second chance so u won't have to load the game again.

With the glitch having high pick pocket is much better than sneak, max pick pocket 1 in sneak gives you 90%

For best affectiveness, .get Pickpocket at 4, and I was not caught any time at all, regardless, I had quicksaved before attempting this, and no-one notices at all.

thats what I did (kinda) pick pocketed every power armor in the prydwen and i just fast traveled away and back and there would be a group of empty suits with no one nearby and new fusion cores inside

And can equip settlers with the same, if you're keen.

You don't need power armor really. I just use it because I love the design and feel

Or you could use a special chameleon armor that when you crouch and stay still you become invisible. That's what I did with 2 cores.
