Rachel, this idea about immitation is amazing!!! I have been into english quite a long time and always did my pronounciation exercises by coping the sounds while watching business news or tv shows or even movies. But you made it simplier with those "3 times and time stop for repeating what you could hear" . Thank you so much and i really find your youtube channel useful source for me! Yulia from Ukraine

@rabie17 Hi. I tried to be clear about that in the introduction. This isn't about saying words the way you always do. This is about hearing English in a different way. If I put up a transcript, all your ideas about the words would be in your mind. I want students just to focus on the sounds, the change in pitch, etc. Even if they don't understand every word. To me, that's a different kind of exercise. And I do have those exercises on my website as well.

hello Rachel, thanks for your videos ! i wanna ask you a question ! whats the point behind those imitation exercises, i mean, i repeat what i think they say and so what ? i really dont get it, a subtitle would be great to make sure we're right and then we can pronounce it just like the way we hear it . i'm just saying
