Rachel, this idea about immitation is amazing!!! I have been into english quite a long time and always did my pronounciation exercises by coping the sounds while watching business news or tv shows or even movies. @rabie17 Hi. I tried to be clear about that in the introduction. This isn't about saying words the way you always do. This is about hearing English in a different way. If I put up a transcript, all your ideas about the words would be in your mind. I want students just to focus on the sounds, the change in pitch, etc. Even if they don't understand every word. To me, that's a different kind of exercise. And I do have those exercises on my website as well.

hello Rachel, thanks for your videos ! i wanna ask you a question ! whats the point behind those imitation exercises, i mean, i repeat what i think they say and so what ? i really dont get it, a subtitle would be great to make sure we're right and then we can pronounce it just like the way we hear it . i'm just saying
