Seems to me, in the light of modern science, not least Relativity, per se just involves simultaneity and per accidens is across time. Otherwise they are causally identical. An animal father in all that he is across the space-time unity of the cosmos is just as necessarily related to his father (& vice versa) as the hand to the stick (& vice versa). Per accidens time series are indeed dependant upon per se series across space. But the opposite is also true.

As atheists from Russell onwards have shown the resultant scholastic cosmological arguments are thereby undermined.

I don’t get it. If per accidens are dependent on per se, and per se can’t be infinite, then how can per accidens be infinite?
