Twitter employees sue after mass layoffs following Elon Musk's takeover

It's been one week since Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter became official and on Friday, while widely expected, numerous employees of the social media platform were let go from the company.

That move has led to employees launching a lawsuit, citing a violation of employment laws, which require significant notice.

Global News' Reggie Cecchini takes a look at what the layoffs mean not only for the company, but for users of the social media platform who could see more cases of misinformation than before due to fewer employees doing content moderation.
