I wonder if Razer has improved their product durability. I was taken by their massive advertisements before only to find out that their products are utter crap. They either stopped working or starts to disintegrate as if they are used for decades even though they are just used for few months. I don't like a fairly good product but works only for few months and that was my experience to razer products before.

If anyone is readinf this now, please make sure to have a solid warranty for the Basilisk. For any Razer products. I've been using the Basilisk for over a year now and it's been an absolute dream, but I'm going to get a second RMA, albeit for a relatively minor issue. Though there are some people who have had major issues with their products.

Better quality due to razer pbt-like textured structure. My Logitech mouse gets shiny and sticky after a while, while my razer mouse is better and not sticky.

It is an easy choice, G502X switches and scroll wheel are awful. I'm G502 fan but new model is trash!

I dont really trust Razer products anymore, I've owned two Razer mice and they both had huge issues after only a couple years of use which was kinda ridiculous to me considering I don't really do any thing that would warrant this kind of wear and tear

The braided cable alone is a no brainier. I can't go back to rubber

I have proteous core and basilisk v3.
I like proteous core as it is heavy and feels sturdy for general use.
Basilisk v3 has a flaw.
If u keep wheel in free spin mode and lift off mouse at 140 degree then wheel spins due to its weight and scroll function is activated.
Havent seen this issue in proteous core.
For gamers v3 is better option.

The Logitech g502x switches arent so good
I had this mouse for 6 months and both clicks stopped working idk if the problem was from the switch itself or from the motherboard.
Also the build quality is kinda crappy especially the plastic and the scroll wheel.
Finally, i returned this mouse in warranty and I'll buy myself a razer basilisk V3 too to see how it is.

The Razer V3 had 2 major problems for me. 1. The right mouse button activated with just the weight of my finger resting on it! You cannot keep your finger held off it for long before it activates as your hand back as unusable. 2. The stupif Razer Synapse software was cauing Display Port not recognised on both monnitors starting the PC. I had to restart with a pressed power button.... not usable! Really dissappointing as it felt and looked good otherwise.
