FISHING FAILS While Hooked on to a BIG FISH!

Just as an MSC cargo shipped traversed down the Port River at Outer Harbor I hooked onto a big Australian Salmon on a Rapala XRap (XR08 GGH) hard body... Not knowing, I was caught out by the massive bow waves of the container ship that came in and splashed all over me!

I recovered from the ridiculous waves but the Australian Salmon unfortunately shook the hooks right at the end. What a fishing disaster while hooked on to a big fish!

Hi matt, today i went to glenelg jetty and saw big salmon, bream and whiting. Over 30 cm. I drop my bait (cockles) but they get scared and go away. What am I doing wrong.
