I have a question for Jim: The late Mick Tucker mentioned that the Yardbirds were among the Sweet’s influences. How does it feel when someone mentions that the Yardbirds are/were an influence on them?

Have questions for Jim McCarty about Renaissance. Why did Jane Relf leave Renaissance? Why was she never interviewed? Michael Dunford wrote "Mr. Pine" on the Illusion album which sounded like a signature line later used on "Running Hard" . Were other ideas for later Renaissance albums actually written earlier as well? Michael Dunford wrote classic material for the Ashes Are Burning album, but why isn't his picture on the album cover? How was the connection between Renaissance and Binky formed? Did any of the original members perform live with that particular lineup? Were some of the early members present when Annie Haslam auditioned? Was it confirmed that Keith Relf died from electric shock or is his death a mystery? What has happened to Jane Relf? Is she still active in music?

How did happen the change, that for me was a radical one, from Yardbirds’s R&B to the progressive sound of The Renaissance on its first two albums, Renaissance and so Illusion?
