J Dilla would use the stereo shaper alot of times because he would hear something really nice in one ear. or would get rid of an annoying noise thats in one ear which is super helpful and satisfying lol

Using the stereo field with the first example is great, but the right side is also awesome sounding 🤷‍♂️

for ableton users. use utility. right or left. depending which one you want to copy. it'll automatically remove the opposite side and duplicate the side you want. stock plugin.
