So many great suggestions! I’ve heard there are Leuchtterms with better quality paper now, but haven’t tried them. I have a few of the originals, and they do ghost a lot but also will bleed…and I’m a hard presser which makes it worse. I just got the April start Hobonichi Cousin in English and this is my first time in a Hobonichi. I wanted something that was very structured without me having to ‘create’ all of that structure like I would in my Bujo. I use a Notebook Therapy B5 for long writing as well as “memory/events” type of stuff that I want to have. I adore the Zebra Sarasa Vintage!!!! The colors are just gorgeous while also being subtle. Writes like an absolute dream (my first Sarasa gel pens!) Actually, there are 10 colors and they come in 2 sets of 5. Hopefully they will make refills for them!!! So you must have one of the sets…definitely put the other on your wishlist, you will love them!! My absolute favorite current pen is the Pentel Energel Clena 0.4 Needle Tip…so smooth, no scratchiness, and writes like a dream on the Tomoe River paper. The ink is the Energel ink with a retro design on the body that is very classy and fun without being “cutesy.” Great idea for holding Washi tape, as I wanted something similar. I also Diamond Paint, and anyone who is into that will know that Harbor Freight (a discount hardware store in the US) sells these wonderful small containers, about 6x8 inches that are clear and the lid swings up and latches down. Inside are 24 small containers that also have snap down lids (perfect for diamond drills, or anything small that needs to be contained.) I made some tubes from TP rolls (recycle!) to fit in two of the Harbor Freight boxes and they will fit about 5 TP rollers (cut the tube, cut off an inch or so, roll tight and tape together) with washi, in each box. Very similar to yours, you can see everything and easily access it, too! I was never too big into fountain pens, but I love the Platinum Preppy (perfect to try out, they’re really nice and refillable!) I used to have a Lamy Safari and really enjoyed that pen…they start from 30$ or so, so I’d also recommend those as a step more into the fountain pen pool….man, those inks are so tempting to me! I love your planner bag, fantastic idea. I’ve just started with the Hobonichi so I’m using a previous A5 cover and a big pen case that I throw into my giant purse, lol. The Midori clear cover just came as well…I’m not sure what ‘container’ I want to keep the planner in, and I’ve never had one with a paper cover so I want to protect it. Thanks for all the tips!
