New Product Discoveries Ep 205: Trinamic TMC2590 Breakout Board and Seeed Grove AI Hat | Digi-Key

Показать описание
Kaili Simpson, Associate Electronics Technician at Digi-Key Electronics, presents New Product Discoveries.
In this video, Kaili introduces Trinamic Motion Control’s TMC2590 Stepper Motor Breakout Board and the Grove AI Hat for Raspberry Pi by Seeed Technology.
Trinamic’s TMC2590 breakout board uses the TMC2590-TA power driver for stepper motors which facilitates low-resonance chopper operation, sensorless mechanical load measurement, power optimization and high resolution microstepping. The board provides for implementation of Trinamic’s trademarked features such as StallGuard2™ for load detection, CoolStep™ current control, MicroPlyer™255 for smooth stepping and SpreadCycle™ for current sine waveform and zero crossing. The TMC2590 breakout board allows for SPI serial control inputs and direct step/direction input.
The Grove AI Hat by Seed Technology is built around the Sipeed Maix M1 A1 module with a Kendryte K210 processor. When attached to the Raspberry Pi platform, the Grove AI Hat allows for powerful edge computing of AI applications. The MAix M1 is a RISC‐V 600MHz AI module that featuring a dual‐core 64‐bit CPU, a 230GMULps 16‐bit KPU (Neural Network Processor), a FPU (Float Point Unit) supporting a DP&SP, and APU (Audio Processor) capable of supporting 8 mics for voice recognition. The board provides a wealth of peripherals such as I2C, UART, SPI, I2S, PWM and GPIO as well as an LCD and camera interfaces and on-board accelerometer.
