Educator here. A specific major/degree is irrelevant (except for some careers that require licensing). An educated person (regardless of what they study) is well-prepared to step into any career path they choose, AND to make changes as their life and the world of work evolves.

20 majors and none of them are what I'm going for. SO

This would've been good to know SEVEN YEARS AGO.

I could not click on this video enough. DO NOT STUDY FOR A THEATRE DEGREE. Just DO Theatre. I'm turning 40 in two weeks and have no more aspirations because I thought this degree would help me in the theatre/film/artistry field. I should've faced my fears of mathematics and become a mechanical engineer.

If only finances were easy to master because just calculating puts me in a stressed out mood

You Know For UG It didn't matter what you pursue because we are not fully baked yet because of age so just do something flexible that you can switch easily ...

From my experience as a communications graduate who worked multiple jobs, you need to pick a specific job in communications and stick with it.

Accounting is a joke. You'll live in a metro area and work as an accountant with a bachelor's that cost 50k and make 70k.

Then, where does Philosophy and Psychology goes?

Law is, in the US, a graduate degree, not an undergrad major. Even if you majored in “law” (assuming the school offered that), you still have to graduate from law school with a JD in order to practice, and pass the bar. Also, after seven years, most states allow you to waive in to practice without resitting the bar exam. Under seven years out, most states require the exam.

Similar issues with medicine with regard to schooling.

*sighs* I could have gotten into business administration... However being Autistic, that has formed a barrier which prevented me from going further, even though I had the college education and experience. Been trying to get all that for at least 10 years. This is why I have a hard time disclosing my disability. But hey at least I work part-time at a grocery store?

Arts industries don't lead to good careers, or even stable careers. I should know having been a Theatre major.

Umm... I'm surprised to see education on the list considering that teachers aren't being paid much.

This video is full of fail. Marketing, finance, and accounting are concentrations of Business Administration, not independent majors.
