See how to create formulas to calculate Insulin needed with the formula inputs: Total Carbs in grams, Carb Ratio, Blood Glucose Test, Blood Glucose Target, Correction Factor:
1. (00:12) Problem Setup
2. (00:25) Excel’s Golden Rule
3. (01:30) Formulas to make calculations including IF Function and FLOOR Function.
4. (06:16) MAX Function as a substitute for the IF Function when the calculation must be positive or zero, but not negative.

With your help, I combined all arguments into a single floor formula. It's super long, but it displays total insulin units needed, depending on correction factors and carbs eaten. Needed the dollar signs, of course. Awesomeness.

I find it really helpful to name the cells that contain the variables that you use in the formulas. That way, if someone looks at your formula to try to understand what's happenning it's much clearer -especially if the variables are on a different worksheet dedicated to data entry. For example, the first formula could read =carbs_grams/carb_ratio.

That said, love all the work that you put into these turorials and magic tricks.

You should leave the correction dose even if the result is minus. Low blood sugar should be compensated with less insulin dose. Its dangerous to supress the minus result. It could cause hypoglucimia or even coma. Please edit your video and sheet to avoid harming people.
