Показать описание
From killer bees multiplying in the attic to a swarm of cockroaches attacking police officers, join me as I show you 8 of the worst bug infested houses of all time.
8. Killer Bees
The term "Killer Bees" is often used as a deterrent to interact with bees as a whole since they sting, but in fact, Killer Bees are a real species! They are a mix of European honeybees and African honeybees, and they are one of the most dangerous bees in the world. What's more, they have migrated and can now be found in places like the Arizona desert, and when they are aggravated, they will strike with lethal force.
7. The Airport Invasion
There are various bugs in this world that are known to annoy people in one form or another, but above all others, the mosquito is revered as the worst of the lot. They infect people with diseases, and can potentially kill all of humanity if they are given the chance. In fact, they are the animal on Earth that causes the most deaths among humans via their transfer of diseases.
6. Swarm of Grasshoppers
Not to be confused with a swarm of locusts, which was the source of another infestation in Biblical times, grasshoppers have been known to swarm on occasion, but one of the most notable swarms in history is one that happened in 2014 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In fact, it was so bad that they dubbed it the worst infestation in 20 years, and as if that wasn't enough, the swarms could actually be picked up on radar!
5. The Bed Bug Emergency
Bedbugs are arguably one of the worst kind of infestations that you can get, and the reason for this is simple, they can be incredibly hard to see, you usually don't know they're there until after they're bitten, and the process to get rid of them is at times rather difficult. In 2016 in Augusta, Maine, there was an apartment building that was so filled with bedbugs that it wasn't just a danger to the people in the rooms with the bedbugs, but it was a danger to the entire town.
4. The Bees Within Her Walls
This is the tale of one Josie Parra, who lives in Houston, Texas. There are infestations that occasionally happen in that area, but usually you're able to deal with them in basic ways, but she really couldn't do that. Because in the case of her home the bees were making residence...in her house. Like literally within her house, as in, in the walls and roof of her house. There were bees everywhere in it.
3. Arachnophobia
Arachnophobia is the term used for "fear of spiders", and it's appropriate to what happened to Brian and Susan Trost, who had easily one of the worst spider infestations ever. This occurred in Weldon Spring, MO, and the story itself starts off rather harmlessly. The two had looked at a house in the area to buy, and they purchased it for about $450,000.
2. The Bees Of Canada
"I guess with the cracked ceiling in the kitchen and the honey dripping on me — that was (the) time to get help," she said.
That was the quote from one Loretta Yates, who lived in Ontario, Canada, and had one very odd bee infestation that baffled her and her husband for some time.
1. The Real Roaches Of New York
You might think that some infestations are caused by recent times, certain advances in homes, etc, but that's not true, there are some legends of infestations that happened decades ago. In this particular case, New York in 1979, which became home to the worst roach infestation in known history.
