My 2001 SR5 with 300K miles took my children from the hospital to home when they were born and to college. Oil change every 5K.

I have an '01 Sequoia with 156k miles. Bought it in 2002. I figure it's got another 20 years in it! I haven't had a car payment for 17 years and do my own maintenance. This is a quality vehicle that's a great value.

Such an under appreciated vehicle. My parents bought an 04 sequoia brand new off the show room floor. My siblings and I grew up in it. We traveled everywhere in it. My dad is gone now and I’m the proud owner of the vehicle. My dads seat was empty for years, but now my boy fills that seat along with my wife who drive in it every day. 200k+ miles and has never let us down. When my day comes, my son will drive it and pass it down to his son one day.

My '06 Sequoia has 240, 000 miles and it's still going strong! Best vehicle I've ever owned.

My mom got me an ‘02 with 300k on it. After a little work on replacing some worn components, the thing runs like a dream. I am forever grateful for my dream truck

I had a 2003 Sequoia rear wheel drive. It had about 187k miles when I bought it. It hadn't been taken care of. I did a full maintenance and preventative maintenance on it myself. I drove that thing to over 328k miles before I spun it off the road backwards on an icy Highway, The tow hitch dug into the soft shoulder and it flipped end over end and then started rolling longitudinally. I rolled around 270 ft before landing on all 4. The Sequoia was still running and I had VERY minor injuries. I picked up all my belongings and drove it at a shallow angle up the soft steep embankment and drove it 100 miles home in 13f weather. I stopped once to pry the rocks out of the wheel bead and fill the tires with air. That was the only mechanical concern I had. That beast made it 100 miles home, into the garage and out several months later when Insurance finally came to tow it off. The tow truck driver asked if it ran, it started instantly and he drove it on his flatbed. I'm actually looking to get rid of the 21 Tundra I bought to replace it and am searching for a 4x4 2nd gen sequoia. They're not perfect, but I wouldn't hesitate to trust them with my life for a second. 328K miles and it ran like a top after 187k of poor treatment.

Ever since I started watching Scotty I have gained much appreciation for reliable cars. I put them ahead of shiny fast cars now.... if they can be fast and reliable it’s a bonus

Scotty! Bought my first vehicle in December...a 2006 Sequoia 4WD. I never gave Toyota products the honor they deserve till I started watching you 2 years ago. Now look, I'm a happy Toyota owner. Thanks Scotty! Ring that bell :)

My Toyota mechanic of 21 years told me he's only seen 4 4.7 v8s fail. 1 from repeated overheating and the other 3 timing belts way past service interval. One of his customers has over 450k on it and still runs great.

Many, if not all, of my neighbor’s Fords out ran my 2007 Sequoia from 0-60. On the other hand, my Sequoia has out ran all of them from 60 to 200, 000 (miles that is)and counting.
