What a great information. Yes we are not diagnosed even though we have the symptoms in the heart, but Doctors state that if we had infections in the heart we would be dead.... so they do not treat us... I am one of those. Appreciate the interview and your help.

Thank you in the last couple of weeks when breathing I've had flutter on my chest and I struggle to breath and also I stop breathing for a couple of seconds it like my heart stops or misses a beat it like if u hold your breath I got diagnosed with lymes last July. But believe I got bitten 14 October 2020 as I come down with a fever. I suffer with slurred speech, facial paralysis, numbness in arms and legs, fatigue, depression, joint pain. I'm now awaiting on CT scan on my heart

I have a question for Dr. Baranchuk or anyone else who may see this. A recent echo shows milk mitral and tricuspid valve regurgitation. I was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2010 and have had chronic symptoms and flares since then. Could the regurgitation bee caused by Lyme disease or co-infections?

I have lyme diagnosed, and an ACA on leg left, have done a biopt there. I have not so much bad symtoms but have cardiac effects who can also be because of stress. I have now antibiotic treatment. Symtoms of heart are strang heartbeats, it feels like a muscle spams feeling, ticks, extra heartbeats, extra systoles, I can do get normal activity and bike and walk normally. If I do this then I have no symtoms, it come back in rest, some months ago I mention lyme by dokter and I have that time also this symtomes, , it do feel irritating and sleeping with it is difficult, I think as then it just dissapair after some weeks to days. I had a box for recording did not say much, what I have was not seen. I have no hart failure, I have not neuro symtoms. I have stress, maybe that is cause, but blood investigation say lyme like positieve IgG and IgM. I have aca with biopt done, waiting now for what it do say. What I do see is that when I go walk or biking I have no problem with heart like skipping beats, when I did talk an hour ago it also was not present. it is only when I am in absolute rest, or in bed, it is then a very nerveus feeling around heart who do not feel nice. When I catch sleep I just sleep through night. I am shure I have lyme for me it is Borrelia Burgdorferi.
