This could have happenwd without Obi turning to the dark side because Dooku technically wasnt evil. He was a sith but he left the jedi order to fight for the systems being oppressed by the Republic and the jedi turned a blind eye to. So the Jedi ignored corruption within the Republic which pissed off dooku who left the order became a sith to free the systems and lead them with his hatred only being towards the jedi order itself and not all in it as seen in episode 2. He wasnt aware of Palpatines full plan and wanted to stop what he knew at all costs. The ironic thing is if dooku was succesful he would save the galaxy AS A SITH and free oppressed systems through his use of the dark side to eliminate Sidious and the corrupt Jedi order.

I don't think Obi would kill Anakin, I think that the fight would go normally, dooku would make believe he knocked out Obi wan like the original fight and get surprised and beaten by Anakin, then Obi wan will supposedly "wake up" and stop Anakin from killing dooku countering Palpatine's "do it" with an ironic "it's not the Jedi way"


And go from there, I think it would be interesting for all of this to just lead up to (ironically) a fight with Anakin and Obi wan, either Anakin still clinging to the light side and their positions being switched (maybe even on mustafar) ooor them both being evil and fighting each other, one as Dooku's apprentice, and one as Palpatine's.

I think that would be an interesting match up

In my opinion, Obi Wan would join Count Dooku, but not to become a sith. More like an alliance. Maybe Obi Wan would become a Gray Jedi, or would stay a Jedi. However, he would never kill Anakin, i think he would tell Anakin about everything and oder him / tell him to help him. I do belive that Anakin would join his Master, Kenobi, as they are like brothers. At the end they would end up there, again with Dooku. All knew about everything. They do theire show fight, and however, they would all 3 start to try killing Palpatine / Darth Sidious. And they would manage to achive it.
What would happen after that event is for me unclear, because maybe Dooku thinks Obi Wan and Anakin are turned to Sith. Or he would know that Obi Wan and Anakin would not join him in the dark side. However Dooku wouldnt know what happens now, as just Anakin and Obi Wan know what they are doing now.

This was great! And it got me thinking about possible "What if scenario's".
1) What if Qui-Gon took Yoda's advice and never trained Anikin.
2) What if Anikin chose not to kill Dooku after Palpatine (Disguised as the chancellor) ordered him to do so. Would this force Palpatine to reveal himself early?

The thing I love most about all of these "What If" scenarios, is that they are almost completely plausible. There is, of course, some heavy suspension of disbelief, as it takes some mighty guess work to predict certain characters going against their, well, character, but even so, well done good sir.
