I loved, I hated, I laughed and I cried. I had friends and foes, lovers and haters. I woke up every morning to write a new page in my life, and sealed it everyday just as I went to sleep. I was real, truer than true, with a beating heart and a living soul.

*I was here*. I was one of you. Another person. Another face in the crowd of many, moving on with my life just like any other day. Just minding my own things. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, without even knowing, never expecting such fate.

*I was here*. But then they took me. In a split of a second, everything changed. Flashes of light, smell of smoke, and screams. So many screams. A feeling of sinking, the world changes around. Gravity claims me, fire consumes me. Fear taking over, panic floods the veins, heart stops beating.
And then silence. Forever.

*I was here*. Another human being, just like you. I lived beside you, right here. I had a beating heart and a living soul.
But now, I am no more.
Don't forget me. Don't let my memory fade. Don't let my name disappear.

Because *I was here*. "

I think it's extremely sad how the video scrolls the names down fairly quickly, but the video is still almost 7 minutes long 😭, rip❤️ #neverforget

Thank you Pastor Mark for such a moving remembrance of that horrific day 19 years ago. The scrolling names of those lost, some 2900 plus lives, combined with the background music was very powerful. Let us all pray for the lost souls and fallen heroes from 9/11/01.
