I was watching you last night in the middle of the hurricane and was getting ready to comment to thank you for your concerns and kind thoughts when the electricity and internet went out so I'm thanking you today. I live in Clearwater and it was pretty brutal for several hours but we got through with minimal damage. Again Thanks for thinking of us.

The mirror behind you in the petite salon looks fabulous, like the wall paper was made for it.

Hello from North Port Fl (next to Venice). We were not evacuated and are hunkered down. I expect landfall around six. As of now the weather is calm. Please give a little kiss to Figaro. Our Figaro is sleeping and hope both he and Ginger sleep through this weather event. I’m painting my Grandmother’s 1920 wicker sofa, chair and rocker who live on our lanai. I’m certain she would be proud. Keep up the fabulous work.

I would love to have a mass for xmas eve at the chapel. Even if I had to be there through my smart tv. ❤

I was starting to wonder about little Figgy. Who doesn't love a kitten? 🐱
Good luck with the chapel restoration. I understand that it is not at the top of your priorities list. Hopefully, a strong finish will please all concerned. I believe there's potential in that humble little chapel, so please take my words of encouragement as sincere. Sometimes blessings come unexpectedly. Open yourselves up to good fortune. You will not regret it.
❤ from TX!

When I was staying in the north of Germany above Berlin, I bought some apple mustard. It is still my favourite. So you have given me an idea for what to do with my apples this year. As I don't have any figs but a glut of apples. I will try it out based on your recipe and see if it works.

If I haven't said it before, I love your taste in wallpaper, chandeliers, and mirrors. I enjoy seeing what new things you both come up with.

I love the fig recipes although I'd probably just sit in the yard and eat them all off the tree!

I'm a Florida resident and left my home and we are staying in a hotel in the panhandle. So glad you're better Patrick. I love the Petite Salon and that mirror behind you is gorgeous. I am looking forward to the finished Dining Room. It's going to be spectacular. Love to both of you.

The lanterns do look good beside the door. You two guys make me laugh sometimes. Love Patrick how you love to use things from the garden and can them.

Patrick, thank you for the shoutout to Florida! Things are a bit better and Milton has weakened a little. Forecast is that Milton wil make landfall tomorrow without tornado activity. We live in Seminole County. 🥰💨🌊

Strewart and Patrick, I like those chapel lanterns. You might use small jar candles inside the lanterns if you want illumination until the electrics are settled.
Patrick, you always have such unusual recipes (in my opinion) and you enjoy experimenting which is inspirational. It must be heaven to be anywhere near your kitchen when you are creating your culinary masterpieces.
Looking forward to seeing Figgy in the next episode... TGIFF (Thank goodness it's Figgy Friday)!
