Was searching for this video since 2 weeks due to 45W rumour, kudos for keeping it short and simple

It’s always the overseas channels like geekerwan and chargerlab that do real in depth testing while other YouTubers still don’t understand why mAh is a misleading battery capacity metric without context.

WFT all the youTubers were saying it supports 45w charging yet its still 30w.

Finally the Iphone reached the magical 30W by 2024 (assumed the pro models only). My old Huawei P30Pr from 2019 was charging with 40W.

The phone requesting a 15 volt input is really interesting. People may be disappointed that there is no 45 watt charging, but they’re missing the point that this is still a big jump for the iPhone.

It would be interesting to see whether the 16 Pro line takes advantage of PPS!

I don't get it why people talk about 45w charging speed and I am charging right now my 16pro with 60w charger from anker the same time my 15pro is charging with 30w anker and already from first 10 minutes they charged the same amount from 20% to 43% in 11 minutes to be more exact.

Thank you for your test results. I confuse about max watt charging for iphone 16 series that have a rumor that max charge is at 45 watt 😂

This is for all the 🤡 who were claiming that Apple 16 pro series supports 45 watts charging. 30 watts is a good number but it's 50 percent slower that what the rumour was. It doesn't matter if it pulls a million watts from the socket while doing x y z activity. It still charges slow, slow claps

Maybe should try good charger with PPS and couple different USB-C cables ?

I’ve tested the iPhone 16 pro max with an Anker charger and I’ve seen it go up to 37W on occasion at 15V/2.5A.

I liked the table with all the chargers models indicating the voltage, current and power values

Thanks for providing correct information 🎉

how can a reputable channel like you say that it’s charging at 18w via MagSafe by measuring that the iPhone + the MagSafe charger is drawing 18w? wireless charging has a lot of power losses and the iPhone is likely being charged at 15w, not 18! also will you try the new MagSafe charger that can theoretically charge an iPhone of the 16 lineup up to 25W wirelessly using a 30w power adapter?

But but but.. MKBHD said it supports 45W so it must, right?
