Thanks for the deck idea. I think I have the orb guys, but not sure. easy enough to buy 1 or 2 copies of something, however. I at least have the expensive cards. I pulled 2 x Versions of the Pikachu card with the animation today, was not expecting that.

I already had one ex, so opened Pikachu packs to try and get further with my collection (least opened packs so far) and i pulled those 2, and I got at least 3 or 4 Zapdos ex, too. I don't think I have a rarer card for Zap yet, but at least I can play the decks now.

Only started playing this maybe 48 hours ago, but I spent a little bit of cash on Gold, to get caught up and just really get a deck going. The acquisition is currently great in this game though, so I almost have all the cards already. I mean I still have a bunch of the rarer chase cards to get, but in terms of actually being able to play everything, I have nearly all the cards.

After being used to Marvel Snap for the last few years, it's so weird to have all the best decks in like 2 days :D I could have spent the same amount on snap and maybe have 2 or 3 new cards, and then could be waiting weeks till they show up in the token shop.

Snap is still a great game though, the gameplay is completely unique. The Acquisition model isn't great though. I was all for the idea at the start, but it's gotten to the point where it's not sustainable, as it cannot bring in new players and keep them, as it could take new players upwards of a year to get anywhere close to playing the new, exciting stuff.

Having a system that mimics IRL, with just being able to play with what you have kind of thing. I like the idea, but that's not what IRL is like. Yeah, people open packs, but if someone wants to come and play as a new player, they will probably buy a deck. In Snap there is none of that. it's like 50 dollars per card. There are only 12 cards in a deck, with 50 dollars per card is a lot of money.

50 for the best cards anyway. the tier down are 30, and then the first 3 tiers are all basically free, just take time. I mean you can technically get everything for free, it will just take a few years to get anywhere.

It's worked out far better to spend like 700-100 on gold, and then just open packs. I mean I guess you could end up with terrible luck, but based on some good wonder pick pulls at the start (I've failed the last 7 or ex attempts, however) then my packs being fairly decent, I can legit build all the best meta decks. It's just Staryu ex decks I can't play yet, or Arcanine/Charizard.

I tried to get 2 x of the Wigglytuff ex from wonderpicks, but failed. I want to try out some of the more niche stuff next.

I’m only missing the 1 zapdos. Is there anything it could be replaced with?

is the standard Pikachu ex deck still good, the one with Zebstrika, Pinchurchin and Blitzle in it? I see there are a few variations on the deck. I have that one built, and I just built your Electrode version. I can probably make the Raichu one, too. I did pretty well on my electric cards.
