For a truely realised Master like SadGuru Govind Singh, writing such a lofty verse with full of love and wishdom is far more than worshipping by any ordinary sadhak.

Jagadguru Shankaracharya also wrote Stotras on many Gods and Goddesses, He didn't need to separately worshipp all those forms.

These immortal SadGurus are already fully connected with the Supreme Lord God Aalekh. They don't need to practice anything like other mortals.

We do not qualify at all to evaluate such SadGurus and decide on their activities. If we want to uplift our soul even a little bit, we only need to follow their AADESH blindly by understanding the true inner meaning of that, coming out of all possible narrow minded likes and dislikes of our very immature limited mind.

"By creating Durga, You have destroyed the demons.
From You, Rama took his power
to kill the ten-headed Ravan with arrows.
From You, Krishan took his power
to grab the hair of Kans and throw him down.
Many great sages and gods have practiced
severe austerities for ages.
But none could find Your end"
