I want to clear some misunderstandings, Gwen betrays Miles by not telling him about the spider society, as well as trying to stop him from saving his father - In Miles perspective Gwen betrays him. This is why miles breaks the web in this scene and Gwen is regretting her decisions.

This scene broke me. No words needed. The looks on their faces says everything. Gwen clearly is conflicted about catching him, and this gesture was to save his life, but Miles would rather risk falling then trust Gwrn and snapped her web. And you can see the look of horror on Gwen's face when Miles symbiotically cut all ties with Gwen that she's lost Miles because ge would rather risk his life to put his faith in her hands.

When i fist whatched into the spider-verse I found out he loved drawing and expressing his feelings with art and graffiti and i found out in across the spider-verse he gave it all up for physics why because he was willing to give up his dreams to find and meet his friends again but when he found out they could have visited him the whole time he felt betrayal and didn't let gwen stop him from leaving the spider society... and realizing this hit me hard
