Just was reading The Eight Doors of the Kingdom by Jacques Philippe and learning about what it means to be poor in spirit. This reading deals with the same. Am I allowing God to work in my life with the easy and the hard? Am I giving Him everything or am I trying to hold onto things/relationships?

First of all to "inherit" eternal life flies in the face of what is taught today by you teachers because you teach eternal life is not based on an inheritance or works or anything we can DO but on faith alone on Christ alone. Besides an inheritance can be lost (5 cases in scripture, read Heb 11.16, 17), not to mention working for eternal life, so we have to work for eternal life and can loose it too???? I think you people have scripture so mixed up it turns people from Christ.
