Oven Cleaning Hack: The Secret to No Scrubbing!

Today I am sharing this oven cleaning hack & secret to not scrubbing the oven and you are going to love it! I must confess, I hate cleaning my oven. I don't like scrubbing my oven. I have tried all the oven cleaning hacks and they are not as easy as promised.

Y'all, my arms are weak. I do not like to scrub. It is like cardio for my body and I get wiped out. So, when I find a truly easy way to clean anything I am thrilled. Last month, I was planning my spring cleaning and sadly cleaning my oven is on the list. I was determined to find a way to clean the oven without scrubbing and I found it!

Plus, the one step blew my mind. There is one secret step to scrub-free oven cleaning and you probably already have everything you need. I love that! Now, if you have a tip to make cleaning the oven racks easier, please let me know.

I spray the racks liberally with the degreaser and place them in large garbage bags...leave them on the floor out of the way, and the next morning, I just rinse off. Yay!! 😀 Thanks for the lovely Prayer. Amen.🙏

It worked! I tried it on the glass oven door and it worked! I’m wondering if the Saran Wrap/oven cleaner spray will work on the bottoms of pots and pans and casserole dishes.

I use Dawn Power wash and a scour daddy to clean mine. It gets quite a bit off. If the racks are really grimy you can put them on an old towel in your bathtub to soak in hot water. Then add some free and clear laundry detergent and give it a few hours, it makes scrubbing them a lot easier. Mine went from black to silver. Now I maintain with the power wash.

I have found the Stanley decreased works for me. I put the racks in my tub with hot water and add the decreaser and let set till your done with the rest of the oven. If the racks are extra dirty it may take a few times.

I own a cleaning company soak the grates with ammonia in a covered plastic container outside overnight. Rinse off next morning. You can also use your easy off method substituted with ammonia as well in the oven. Easy off sounds better inside. Nice video.

My biggest problem with cleaning my oven is those harsh chemicals. I have asthma and it really affects my breathing. I need a way to clean it without using those chemicals.

I have also found that doing my final wipe down with a vinegar water mix cuts that slick surface left by what little of oven cleaner remains after wiping.

Love this! I wonder if the Dawn Power Wash would work like oven cleaner. I have respiratory issues, so not a fan of traditional oven cleaner, but I can wear a mask, if necessary. I would not rinse grease down the drain. I take my filters and grates out on my patio or driveway and use the hose.

I use baking soda and water paste followed with vinegar spray and leave it iver night. It seems to work pretty well. But now I'm going to have to try this with what I akready use and see if it works 😊

To make the plastic wrap easier to use, REFRIGERATE it for several hours! I keep my wrap in the refrigerator all the time.

Can you use this method with a self clean oven? I was always told not to use any type of harsh oven cleaner in a self clean. Only like dawn and baking soda or baking soda and vinegar

Similar to others: using BLACK plastic bags ----spray with cleaner or plain ammonia----set in the sun if you can; let sit for several hours ---usually don't have to scrub much, just rinse

Put the oven racks in a plastic trash bag then spray with oven cleaner.

Next time take the oven door off when your wiping the oven out, it makes it so much easier to wipe out the inside ex specially if you have short arms like me. God Bless

Throw the racks i a trash bag thats doubled and por someamonia in it let them set out side on porch or sidewalk or drive way then go back out get them every thing should be off if u poured enuph and let it set long enuph
