ABOUT ME

I’m 31 years old and I’m a sheep farmer from Ayrshire in South West Scotland, which is why I have such a strong accent! I was born and raised on a sheep farm watching my dad who was the shepherd.

At 18 I went away from farming to work in the city (something I still do) and at 23 (2013) I decided I wanted to do something for some extra money so I went on a sheep shearing course. The hardest thing I’ll ever do was learning to shear sheep. [shudders thinking about it]

I shore whilst on my holidays from work for 2 years and then in 2015 my dad died so I decided to get my own sheep so I could continue working with sheep as it was something I loved doing. From there it escalated quickly from my first 4 sheep in my mum’s garden to now running around 600 breeding ewes.

I shore over 15,000 sheep this season in UK and I also travel to Norway for shearing in March and September. (Covid messed it up this year)

A few years ago I bought myself a sheep pregnancy scanner and have been building up my run since then.

I watched a few farm vlogs on YouTube and decided I could have a go and now here we are!

Thanks for watching my videos and please subscribe if you want to see more in future.

My heart just exploded at the cuteness of the black nosed sheep. I didn't even know they existed until now and I already want 20 of them!

The Hoof GP title caught my eye...he's excellent at his job and a genuine man. Hopefully you can live up to the attention you'll get for using his name!

The Hoof GP brought me to rescuing Fiona the Sheep, which in turn brought me here, and yes, I subscribed. The black nosed sheep are just adorable. They look like little stuffed animals.

Nice to see you and Hoof GP throwing each others site for people to watch.👏
Nice job by the way.
Some good $ to be had raising those beautiful sheep.💪

I really appreciate how careful you are to speak slowly and clearly. The Scots accent is HARD to understand and you're making it much easier.

This was in my recommendations because of Hoof GP, nice work, very cute sheep and I love the ‘you win or you learn’ phrase. I’ve subscribed 😁🐑🐏

Firstly: the sheep are precious! So cute!
Secondly: I love The Hoof GP.
Lastly: I have been looking for a channel JUST LIKE IT! My daughter did a sheep 🐑 for FFA. We needed you! Please continue. 💕

Having owned horses for many years, it cracks me up that sheep's feet can be trimmed with big scissors. Fiona's story brought me here, and I'm a subscriber now! Great work!

Lol, with their little black faces they remind me of a cartoon. They have a really cute kind of dotty look about them, and their little faces seem expressionless, because you can't see their eyes. To me that's what makes them look so cute and cartoonish. And Yes, they are absolutely adorable.

This is **brilliant!** A great tongue-in-cheek satire of "Hoof GP"'s great channel!

Those lambs are so dang cute! I thought the ones in your thumbnail image were stuffed animals because they were too perfectly adorable to be real. I want one, and that cross breed one, I'll take it too. ❤️
I love your accent, but I also appreciate the subtitles you throw in.

I've been watching horses, donkeys, and cows have their feet trimmed. Didn't realize sheep needed it to, but it makes sense since hooves grow continually. Loved the video! These sheep are cute even as adults 🥰

Those lambs look like cute little stuffed toys. That dressing table looks like one used for grooming show dogs. For hoof trimming you need one like Sandi Brock has. The sheep goes in. It’s squeezed in the “crush” then turned upside down and all feet are accessible for trimming. Love the Hoof GP by the way. Graham is as entertaining as you are. Much love from a grandma in Illinois.

A Hoof GP fan here but loved watching these adorable sheep. I'm glad Graeme is helping you with youtube. The subtitles helped a lot when your lovely accent got a bit thick. I don't own cows or sheep but love the videos. Subscribed! Cheers from Southeastern Pennsylvania!

Argh! Now I’m going to lose my current situation as a professional grump by daydreaming about leaving my cubicle and spending the rest of my life kissing the faces of wee black nosed sheep babies 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Thanks for the terrific video 🤗🌸
