The 282-Z and 274-Z provide clean reliable cutting of aluminum in almost any condition thanks to the generous chip clearing potential of their large singular flutes.

I like how it evacuates the chips easily, much less stressful when you don't have shop air to help blow the chips out.
On a separate note, would you do a video on cutting composite materials?
Great video as always!

Winston, two questions; the holder for the air blast hose looks interesting. Will you share the .stl file? Second, what’s with the painters tape on the spindle? Thank you for the very informative feeds and speeds videos.

Have you tried doing a greater DOC? When doing such shallow cuts, you're only using the very bottom of the flute's edge, and run the risk of much higher deflection.

Would love to know the air blaster setup as well. Please post details

Thanks! Epic video! Do these feeds and speeds with a single flue also apply to belt driven nomads (original one)

The 278-Z - 1/4" endmill, was in the initial frame but didn't have any cut time. Would you recommend running that endmill on the Nomad with the larger collet?
