I got the package in 2023, and to be honest all said & done. I have flagship bow money tied up in getting mine to shoot decent. Started with the peep, the bear peep lasted 10 or so shots before the surgical chord ripped, then the cables and string started fraying, i lost accuracy and 10+ pounds of draw. (I shoot 70lb/30”) almost maxing what it’s capable of. The whisker biscuit V limits you to 3 fletch, but doesn’t last and has a tendency to knock veins throwing off your shot. I hunt with a quiver in, i do more stalks than stand hunting, so i benefit from a back bar and long front stab. Between replacing everything i mentioned and not the sight, you’re looking at about $1, 000 + give or take. I wish i would have waited a couple months and coughed up some more money on the darton consequence.

Bear has always typically done things a little different. Where most companies have a flagship bow set at a certain poundage, or even offer increments of 10. Ie: 40-50, 50-60, 60-70 etc. Bear bows come in 15. So sounds like you purchased the 45-60 pound version, and not the 55-70 pound version.

That being said, for the common blue collar guy that needs a package ready to use that doesn’t have $1000 to drop on a bow plus accessories. This fits the bill perfectly.

Of course you’ll always have maintenance and upgrades you want to do. It’s just meant to get you out and into the field hunting quickly with no frills just decent enough gear to get you started.

Adapt 2+ will be available in Europe in November, so I will order it.

I'd replace that string before shooting again.
