I bought this bow a few weeks back and immediately sold my V3X. Sure, the V3X is faster and mildly quieter in ways, but I’ve shot 2 deer since with this bow with complete pass throughs with a Shwacker as the broadhead. The draw is SOOO smooth and it honestly holds on target FOR ME better than the V3X. I have no reason to own the more expensive bows other than if you want to just look cool by having one of the big name bows. This bow will do absolutely everything you want it to and more. I highly highly highly recommend!

For a recreational bow where you might shoot 50-100 arrows per session, it's hard to beat a smooth drawing single cam bow with a 32" + ata length. Speed at the cost of a high effort draw cycle isn't worth it when you shoot lots of arrows. Plus simpler single cam bows can be tuned up in about half the time in my experience. It seems to me that Bear has applied the same (or very similar) excellent cast aluminum riser to the 32" ata Alaskan, Resurgence, Resurgence LD, and Adapt. Can't blame them at all because that is good economics and this riser is light, strong, well-featured, precise, great gripped, and good looking. I have a Bear Resurgence which is now my favorite bow. Might pick up an Adapt as an even smoother fun shooter with enhanced grip option.

A little more brace height would be good for the target audience (pun intended) Discussion of string material would add to review. Nice looking Bow for a fair price. For some reason reviewers often put down mid priced bows. You did not do that.
