I feel so bad for Anne Bolyn. Her sisters reputation was RUINED because she became another kings concubine. Anne didn't want that to happen to her. So when King Henry the 8th wanted her to be his mistress, she declined. She found another man to marry, and the king became jealous and stopped the marriage. The king was so shocked that a woman said no to him, that he became obsessed with Anne. It sucks because I've read a lot of historians and they believe that King Henry 8th had an STI. It explains a lot of the health problems he had and it also explains why ALL his wives managed to have only one healthy baby, but then they all had constant miscarriages. They couldn't keep the babies alive, and they didn't know why. He killed all these women for not "giving him a son" when he was the one giving them an STI that would cause them all these health problems and miscarriages. King Henry is an awesome study if you want to learn about evil in human beings and pure narcissism.

I learnt a lot about Tudor/Stuart history in high school, and was very interested in Henrys life. 10 years later i find out im blood related to him.... why dear god were my ancestors assholes 😢 how he treated his wives, the complete unrest that came from trying to change the religion of a whole nation. Im surprised he wasnt posthumously named "Henry the Terrible". He sounds just as bad as Ivan the Terrible

I mean the one who is obsessed is Henry, like Anne, she already said she doesn't want to be with Henry because his sister, Marry Boylen, used to be a mistress but after Henry got bored, he went after Mary And also when Henry was still with Katherine of Aragon, Anne was her lady-in-waiting / servant...So Anne said that she didn't want to just be his mistress because she knew that Henry would get her.

Anne isn’t as naive as people think she is. She was 100% power hungry and wanted to make a name for herself & her family. She had no problem bedding the King while he was still married. She knew what she was doing.
