Imagine being friends with some ravens, bully attacks you and he's met with ravens pecking his shoulders. Not that much damage but physological impact would have been astonishing.

Makes sense why Edgar Allen Poe held ravens in such high esteem, they are truly intelligent birds

I watched a raven learn how to untwist those twist lock garbage cans.
.... needless to say they are great and amazingly smart

Now I'm just waiting for the fated day where the Raven Trader appears before me, and I must make the offer.

It has been shown that ravens and crows have developed a symbiotic relationship with wolves. Not only will they associate with each other through playing. They also help with hunting. Ravens and crows will scout for potential prey be it a corpse, deer, goats etc. Once found they will guide wolves to the animal and when the wolves take the prey down wolves will share the prize with their avian friends. Fascinating.

Ravens also play with wolf pups to form bonds with them, because ravens and wolves tend to have an interesting relationship where ravens will help wolves find food, and then the wolves will allow the ravens to eat some of the food.

Another amazing fact about ravens is that they dont just play with wolf pups, but actively work with wolves to hunt. The ravens guide a wolf pack to their prey, the wolves take down the prey, eat their fill, and then the ravens eat whats left. It genuinely is incredible, seeing these animals work together to help each other

Ravens talking about corpses is just about the most metal thing I've heard all year

Not to mention their ability to use tools and a study that showed they could also make tools that they need. This shows a level creativity and understanding that is just awesome.

It is said that when one of the flock dies, the rest of the flock gather around the corpse in some sort of finding hints and clues to explain the cause of death.

Ravens are so beautiful, there's not many creatures that pretend to cache food, and they can even have fun. Some types of crocodillians under stand fun too there's been footage of a crocodile sliding down a small stream and climbing back up to go down again. There just so fascinating.

I also like how they like being around wolves so much, when a coyote is near a pack of wolves, the raven will immediately give away the coyote's location for the wolves to attack it.

This poet named "Robert Frost" describes mischievous ravens. They would pop up right in front of him giving him a scare and they would knock snow onto him from the trees. all while laughing after the fact.

Now I know why I love ravens and crows, I always talk to them when I see them and I swear they will look at you like they understand everything you say, it’s wild.

I have made friends with wild Ravens! Frankly I couldn't tell you here all the strange and wonderful experiences they shared with me. You wouldn't believe.
They are careful and constant observers of the humans in their environment. They are always watching!
