Money should be spent very carefully. For multiple reasons, 1) If your income stream is affected you have new thing to start & expenses taken care of.
2) If you as family instill habbit of high living & high spending, brands, etc. It is difficult to live below that set standard which will turn against you in rough times.
3) Your family kids will think money earning is not an issue, it is available in plenty what they have seen in life.
We know only deprived children have zeal to excel & driven. Your children will lack hunger to earn others kids will go ahead of them.
4) Lot to be Left behind for next generation.
Whatever logic you try to create reality is life will be difficult for them, they might not identify same opportunities as you did if they don't have resources & they will curse you for living mindless life.

Rightly said. A lot of 'money conscious' people will tell you to save and invest so you can enjoy being rich when you retire at 60. Like, dude...by the time you get to 60 you'll be having health issues (both physical and mental, if not any). You'll be weak and frail and most things that you wanted to do in life, you either won't be able to because of old age or you won't have an interest to do it anymore.
So, enjoy your life as you go. Save some for emergency situations and a little bit for your kids (if you plan to have them), otherwise, if you cannot enjoy your money then there's no need to earn so much

Exactly what i try to follow in my life. Have been in the phase of minimalism and buying cheapest thing available even when i could afford more but it just didn’t work for me. It depends person to person but i have seen most of us have both phases in life.

There is a difference between 100 cr and lakh or 10 lakh. As a middle class I would definitely try to save/invest so that it multiplies.
So, try to save/invest your money.
Don't get trapped in such shorts/reels.
A person who earns 100 crores doesn't even have time to watch such shorts.
