I'm 31, it's crazy to think how much the 27 club accomplished. They were incredibly young to achieved so much.

From everything I’ve seen and read, it sounds like Jim had a bad case of pneumonia leading up to and when he died. You combine that with massive amounts of booze, chain smoking, fatigue, coughing/vomiting up blood, and definitely heroin, then I can see his lungs failing completely when he passes out, he stops breathing then the heart stops, then….The End.

It's strange to see how all those famous people were so alive, doing things at one time. You know them as dead but to see how they were living life, not knowing they'd die

Fame is a crock, power is a crock, who the hell wants that? Freedom man, freedom, enough money just to be, yourself. No acting, no image, just be. Getting up when you like and doing what you like, dress how you like. If you have somebody who loves and supports you and doesn't want a piece of you? That's probably as good as it gets man. - Mickey Alvarez. (Jim Morrison)

What a great vid! Good run-down of Jim Morrison's last days in Paris; but, also a great analysis of music composition at the end of the vid. Well, done!

Fascinating video, so many different factors… and scenarios. And new knowledge for me of his friends in France. Thank you!

Correction: Edie Sedgwick died in November 1971, so Jim could not have read her obituary in May of that year.

Deleted my original comment because I never knew how bizarre Jims death really was. I mean all the books I’ve read say it was strange but not nearly as much detail. Wtf was really going on!?! When people freak out like that and there’s a lot of money to be inherited it raises some questions. Pam is far more shady than I realized

Listening to this I've changed my mind about heroin overdose as that is usually immediate. It sounds like he was hemorrhaging blood which could have been affected by his fall out the window onto a car shortly before- maybe internal bleeding? Probably a bunch of factors where heroin was certainly one of them. I think it's telling that a doctor thought the body was of a 57 year old man and not 27.

Jim Morrison was the ultimate rock god who succumbed from his demons and joined the 27 club and ensured his place on rock's pantheon of the greats

No one ever talks about Pam’s death. Would be interested in hearing about her last years/days as well

So sad that Jim is no longer strolling the streets and cafes of Paris, France 🇫🇷 with Pamela and their coterie of bohemian friends that give Paris its irresistible air. But Charles Sobhraj is back from Nepal 🇳🇵...he is not wanted. But at least Jim sleeps in the Perelachaise...his spirit is still here and lives on through his music 🎶 which still haunts and excites

This is super detailed and thought out. I’ve read as much as I could about kurt and Jim and never heard some of these details. You accomplished a great video here. Cheers

It still stuns me to this very day no autopsy was done- on a 27 year old! RIP Jim & Pam together 4-ever 🤎
