10 AMAZING Changes To Come With Cataclysm Classic | WoW Classic

Cataclysm Classic is expected to be the follow up to Wrath of the Lich King Classic, and just as it did back in the day, its going to change many things within the game.
Today i want to go over 10 of the changes made that im actively looking forwards to, and why I think that they will be good additions to the game.

One thing I enjoyed was the world raid markers. made life easier for telling people where to stand for mechanics and such

I remember having a lot of fun in Cata dungeons early on. I never got too far into raiding in the expansion, but the 5 man content still sits in my head as a good time

When I hear about heroics, I'm instantly teleported many years back when Towelliee just started his paladin tanking videos and oh boy, I remember falling in love with the expansion in an instant. He made the expansion so fun I just couldn't resist!

Cataclysm was super fun when it came out back in 2010, and now that I've been playing Classic for more than four years I've actually grown a bit nostalgic for those revamped zones.

Cata was perhaps the beginning of the end for me, as far as Retail is concerned, but nonetheless, I did enjoy this expansion. Not all of it mind! I hated the changes to the Old World! But I did very much enjoy the under water zone Vashj'ir, The Core, and I thought a lot of the dungeons were really good!

So yes, I think I will be continuing my Classic journey with Cata. However, the changes at this point were beginning to get unbearable for a LOT of players! So I would assume that this is where the Classic Journey will end!

It simply doesn't make sense to continue past Cata Classic, because with MOP and beyond, we are definitely back in Retail territory!

So that said, if Blizzard wish to capitalise on the popularity of Classic, they have NO choice now, but to consider Classic+!

I liked cataclysm. Don’t remember too much of it but I do remember one specific thing above everything else.

Honestly I'm really excited for Cataclysm classic. The biggest thing I dislike about Cataclysm are the changes to the old world, most of which I don't like, but the old world is still playable on the vanilla era servers, which I still play and can enjoy there. With that said though, Cataclysm may be the closest we ever get to a classic+, because both lower level characters as well as max level characters are all still in Azeroth in the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor, which makes them feel more alive than they did in any other expansion. Aside from vanilla, this will be the only other time everyone in the entire level range will be spending meaningful time in the main old world, not on some newly uncovered continent or faraway place. It's an expanded old world with new zones and dungeons and stuff. Plus not to mention transmog makes the old content feel much more relevant than ever before, for the first time gear from older dungeons and raids is actually worth trying to get, so older raids should be more relevant than in either TBC or Wrath.

I have my issues with Cata, but it's not even close to the dumpster fire that is retail, it still feels fairly similar to Wrath classic, just in the old world again. Sure, with Cata, we are getting closer to what the retail game feels like, but I would argue it still feels closer to classic than retail. Once we hit WoD is when I'd say we are firmly in retail territory and there is no need for classic to advance that far.

I will miss Aggressive stance on pets. If you hear that rogue stealth noise (or NPCs) but you just can’t find them, set pet to aggressive and watch it find everything.
Or if there’s an enemy player, set to aggressive and watch it chase it out of stealth. It’s niche, but helpful and has saved my hunter.

Cataclysym was the best PvP expansion in any MMO ever. I pvped rated battleground all day long

I'm really looking forward to clearing the hc dungeons that were very difficult at launch, at the start of Cata

Been playing Cata for awhile now to prep for Cata Classic. It's WAYY more fun than I expected. I never played it back in the day, and it honestly is really fun.

The feeling of having full BIS HEROIC dungeon gear before the raids..and then getting your first epics felt as good or even better as it it did back when I started in mid TBC.
