I love how her accents are all mixed together from her years in the UK. Classy person.

Even her speaking voice is melodic! What a cool, magnetic person she is.

I saw this interview while I was in the hospital in 2015. TBS played is at it's regular time, 11;30 and again at 2; 30 AM. I could not sleep at all so I watched it twice. Now it's 2021 and I just watched it again. I didn't remember any of it !

Chrissie is probably one of the greatest voices known to the mankind. Her control on vibrato speed is inhuman.

Her memoir is so good. What a life, such great songs. We wore out a few copies of the albums with the original line- up. Classic and classy.

Chrissie uses vibrato control to make a vibrato that is in the actual tempo of the song. I have never heard anybody else do that. That's unique.

Great band that foursome. It was so fun to have new groups burst on the scene between 1976 and 1982. I was one of the lucky ones to see that line up in Royal Oak Michigan.

I'm a Boomer! 53 years old. I remember opening weekend of MTV in Madison Connecticut. There was a lot of concert footage for American bands because there was no format to play music videos so bands didn't have any. The British bands did have videos which I loved, The Pretenders, The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Clash, Dixies Midnight Runners, Elvis Costello, Adam And ect. I was there man. I remember.

Thank goodness I grew up on chicks, like Chrissie, Siouxsie, Patti Smith, Debbie Harry, Joan Jett, Nina Hagen, Lydia Lunch, Exene, B-52s, Annie Lennox, etc. Not the top 40 skank 'hos of present day.

Maybe THE best debut album ever!
The Police and the Cars too. Amazing first albums.

Inimitable. There’s no way to truly cover a Chrissie Hynde song. Her voice is absolutely distinct from any other voice in rock, as is her personality.

One of Akron Ohio’s best, along with Devo and The Waitresses

Surely enough people hate the MTV of today that going back to the old format would actually increase viewers.

Chrissie Hynde was on your show? Damn, Conan. I'm going to have to start watching.
