My absolute FAVORITE cover song EVER (after growing up a huge Kinks fan!)!!! I took my roomie and brother Bob to see them from the balcony at the State Theatre in downtown Detroit on Feb. 29, 2000 - gleefully knocking the amazing Pretenders off my bucket list! And their performance was absolutely KICK-ASS! The acoustics and vibe was incredible...Chrissie was constantly engaging with the audience playfully...and when they began this song, I couldn't stop crying (as I am now typing this) because I never thought I'd get the chance to hear it live.
