Hello, have a subru forester 2006mod that has an error code P1410. Checked this air pump, that is to say I connected it directly to the battery, was it not life stone? Could it be the pump that is broken? Following your you-tube posts, very informative. Mvh Odd (Norway)

We've got an 07 Legacy GT Spec-B with this pain-in-the-ass system and yeah, have been ignoring it for a while now. Custom tune to delete codes here in Wellington, NZ is going for $450 + GST. New parts at the $2900 mark. My Legacy show P0406 and P1406 so valve on turbo side is shot and I've disconnected the pump hence the second code. Wish I could just put a resistor across the valve wire plug and be done with it but doesn't seem to be that simple. Good video mate. Cheers!

The amount of condensation it collects is no joke. I found out by changing the ignition coils, I think i will check this thing every time i do a rear diff fluid change (15k miles)

Super annoying and expensive failure mode. Apparently will also put the car into limp mode only as it throws a constant CEL on start, and will try and keep revs under 4000 with little to no boost available.

Had the P0410 code appear recently after having a new 02 sensor fitted. Bizarre thing is the secondary air pump was removed by the previous owner and the ECU tuned accordingly 4 years ago. Local Subaru expert now stumped and confused!

I know this is an old video. But I'm having a p2227 code and It wont go away. My car won't start due to what ever is throwing the code. Do you have any experience with this code and a possible fix?

I didn't realize corrosion was the cause of failure. Can you fog oil into the assembly as a prophylactic measure to prevent rust?

I'm glad my 2004 STI doesn't have one. And with TGV delete's and no cats my car must have pretty bad cold start emissions, and I just passed my smog check the other day :-P

Wish we had come to your shop to get the codes removed. Could have got a custom tune + codes removed for the same price we paid just to have the codes removed by a workshop in Granville.

Is it necessary to block off the valve holes? I disabled the pump with my tuner and removed the pump but the piping removal is a really extensive job so I honestly just have plastic piping still open. I'm assuming this is okay because the valves to the exhaust should now be closed anyway. Will this effect my cars air measurements and do I need to worry about the barometric sensor?

I have impreza wrx 2012 limited and no have electric in the left side in the 2 coil but the coil is good.

help, i got a 2007 sti that and i can only fine a connection for one side of the air valves, i cant find a plug to connect the air valve under the intake manifold anywhere.
I looked for cut or spliced cables and nothing seems to be tampered

I have a 2018 sti and I read that there is a barometric sensor in one of the parts of the air pump. What should I do in this case?
