Thanks MRT for the video. You guys have always been helpful. I was wondering though if you could do a little more visual and explanation on how to get to and remove everything. It was just a hard to tell with how fast you went over everything. Thank you.

I have ran into a few 2007 STIs that have the fault code for the secondary air pumps and I installed the delete kits and they are running awesome now.

We had this problem with a 2006 Forester XT...only  62000 klm . The Subaru dealer (where we bought the wagon) claimed to know nothing about the problem..even though he knew it was going to cost $4200 to fix it. Got the codes removed..and pulled the pump relay..no more codes and no more noisy pump on startup.

Will the ECU need to be reprogramed once the block off plates are installed?

i just got a recall in the mail today for this.my 2013 WRX hatch is stage 2 plus pro tuned to 300whp i don't really feel like driving across town to the dealer ship and I'm not even sure if they would fix it since the warranty is up and car is tuned.but i got the recall in mail regardless.

Thanks for the video. I have a 2011 Subaru Forester XT 2.5 that has codes P2444, P2443 and P0333. The block off plates are a great solution. Will the temperature of the engine increase with the block off plates installed?

Are you able to install the block off plates with the engine in the car?

I've got the same. Technically it does not matter whether it stucks open or closed, nothing will appear on emission tests since all that stuff is supposed to work only for a few seconds after cold start. Well, maybe minutes when it's -30C outside. On mine, error P1410 pops up 2-3 times a week so I am just clearing it using OBD BT adapter and Torque software on mobile phone. Looking for cheaper options to reflash the car ECU so that it would simply ignore certain error codes. 300 € seems a bit too much.

Very helpful thank you. My ej20 is really checking. I cleaned throttle and intercooler. It now very much better but still it's checking a little bit, what could be the reason.

Did the LIC plates as well on mine. you had any issues with the gaskets leaking?

Thanks, I'll play around with mine tomorrow. The worst would be no cruise control. Something that I will not need in London. Cheers

What do you do if the code keeps coming up even though the part has been replaced more than once? I replaced it twice and 3 days later the p2443 code keeps coming back, i even tested the part that i believed was faulty and it worked just fine so im lost

I really would like this. My valves were stuck open and closed. I ended up disabling the codes with my access port now I just have the whole system crowding up my engine bay.... I need some block off plates!

Hello I called you guys the other day and I was advised you wouldn't take out my valves as mine are shut, you'd just do the power upgrade in ecu and delete turn off codes. Wouldn't the valves open up under acceleration?

Is the baro sensor under the tmic on the drivers side, or is the sensor on the passenger side on a USDM 2017 STI? Thank you kindly sir

Well well. Not just me then. Forester XT 06. Hmm. Getting a replacement pump seems to be an astronomical option. I think blanking plates are the go. Thanks for the video.

odd though, as the Subaru girl I spoke to yesterday said there was a recall for this part ... but, funnily enough, my car wasn't included. Oh really? Why has my pump failed as well then?! Friggin Subaru.
