My Fiancé and I met 5 years ago. One of the first things she told me about was the deeper lore of the Elder Scrolls series. She got me to play oblivion and told me about the characters and the stuff I had missed in Skyrim. Since then we've done a few playthroughs of Skyrim and it's naturally become a very important game to us. Knowing that I'll be able to finally adventure through this game with my favorite person in the world means so much to me.

To those who have followed the steps and when you run it will start and close right away. You have to start skyrim through steam once going to the main menu, closeout and open it through vortex. This worked for me.

My brother and I spent six hours playing this yesterday.
We noticed quite a lot of bizarre interactions (dead bodies following the player (me) but not the Host, no Radiant encounters matching up with the Player when the Host has them, standard Survival mode barely worked because Sleep/Rest wasn't working properly, with Time only progressing _one minute_ at a time, etc.)

That being said, it was still a hilarious and amazing time. What we eventually ended up doing was splitting up completely and roleplaying that way. Radiant experiences immediately started working for me, I was no longer haunted by the Host's corpses, items such as food and potions no longer used two for every one button press, and general stability improved. We were both in the same world and could interact with eachother normally. The only issue that wasn't resolved was the Sleep issue, as time still progressed on a minute-by-minute basis. This could affect some Mods, so just keep that in mind until you find a workaround.

Still, it's extremely fun, surprisingly stable (we didn't use any third party software) and basically a dream come true. I hope some of the bugs get ironed out, but even if it's a "community" based thing or whatever, this is still a miracle of a mod that deserves to be in everyone's queue if you've even remotely desired to play Skyrim with other people.

IMPORTANT!:
You NEED to START the default game at least ONCE after the installation, or it WILL NOT work!

For anyone running into an issue like I had. Make sure that the Mod Staging folder in Vortex is in the same hard drive as your base game. If it is not, the mods will not properly be setup in your base game folder. This causes a lot of issues for me, hopefully it helps someone.
