I couldn't find any information in the MG4 documentation that ECO mode turns off the heat pump. Could you please provide some reference about it?

Apparently all new models have heat pump (SR and LR) is there any way to double check? Also living in a tropical country we use A/C mainly for cooling almost never for heating, is there any advantage to having a heat pump in that scenario?

In the UK none of the MG4 models have a heat pump.
