Gotta be honest, presentation was awesome. Straight to the point and didn’t sugar coat what the car lacks compared to other cars of its class. The camera and editor needs a raise. Beautiful just beautiful. (Been watching videos of Mazdas for the past year)

My only gripe was the unnecessary “loud” and suddenly short music transition. Just a critique to taper the music up and down in transition.

I enjoyed watching the Video Review. One of my favourite Family SUVs. My Stepmom collected her New 22 Reg Model In April. I particularly like the the New Black Leather Seats that feature Red Stitching as does the Gear Knob

While I don't like "SUVs", seeing you review a Mazda anything makes me think, if you haven't done so already, you should get onto Mazda Ireland about test driving the recently updated MX-5!

As I'm sure you're aware, the fourth gen MX-5 launched with a nice light free revving 130hp 1.5L engine which was always well received and is still available...

However for those looking for more power, the initial 160ho 2.0L alternative, wasn't particularly well received, said to not rev very nicely, will not having enough extra horsepower to really overcome the extra weight it brought to the car, barely being quicker than the 1.5L in everyday driving...

While the 2.0L was eventually upgraded to a nicer freer revving 184hp offering, it really wasn't available in Ireland until now (outside of the literally ten 30th anniversary edition models released here!)

Mazda sold the old 2.0L until presumably they ran out of stock of them, then you couldn't buy a regular MX-5 here with a 2.0L engine...

I check the specs of the various Mazdas available here pretty regularly (focusing on the MX-5 and the 6) and I last checked the specs of the MX-5 a month or three ago, not seeing any 2.0L engines available for it, however looking this week I saw that we can FINALLY get the new 2.0L engine in it!
(Not that it's particularly cheap, though it's still the cheapest new sports car we can buy new here 😯😀🤘.)

Anyway, please get it on the channel, in both convertible and retractable hard top if possible, as soon as possible please! 😀🤘

Thanks for your great video. It’s a shame that Mazda doesn’t seem to like Ireland, they’re only supplying us with their low spec vehicles at high spec prices. And NO hybrid in this day and age. I won’t be looking at Mazda any time soon.

How are we supposed to tell how it looks with the super muted / high contrast color correction on the video?

Good review, I would suggest that the diesel version isn’t the best engine option.
The price at the pump coupled with a more regular service interval undoes all of the mpg benefits.
The petrol 165bhp engine is the best option, it’ll return 40mpg only needs a service every 10, 000 miles, it doesn’t have a dpf like the diesel which again is another service cost at some point.
And better than all of that you don’t get oily hands when you fill it up.

The CX-50 is the bestlooking Mazda SUV !!! CX-5 is only average. It´s too old and not modern enough!!!

Oh, the car is too far from being best looking SUV. It looks like like a soap box from the rear views. Inside: uncomfortable driving position (limited space).
