The pillars can feel big from the inside, but they’re also one of the reasons the CX-70 got a Top Safety Pick rating from the IIHS. I definitely don’t mind making the extra effort to check my blind spots if it means driving a safer vehicle.

I 10000% agree with the opening statement they have some of the nicest looking bodies for SUV's that also have amazing looking paint like the red's and blue's.
Also if your looking over your shoulder to do lane changes or going in to a merging lane or whatever then your doing it wrong especially if your useing a brand new modern day car you got 3 mirrors at your disposal blind spot assist and its other 70 million saftey features. Im also sure dont qoute me tho that the car will even auto correct and put you back into your lane if it detects a crash about to occur i know it does for the front like if someone brake checks you or something.

Pretty dumb comment about it not having the zoom-zoom effect. It’s not as fast as a track hawk but it is just .2 slower than a stock mazdaspeed3 and it has awd with 3x the space. For reliability and comfort the engine is down tuned for the 280hp. For the zoom-zoom aspect I would definitely say it is as fun to handle as a speed3 we have both of them and nobody says a Miata has zoom-zoom and looks at its power it’s all in the driving dynamics.

That colour is called Soul Red Crystal Metallic and just be happy there is no piano black in the centre console.

Zoom-Zoom concept was created to sell the mazda3 and 6. The miata was never part of the Zoom- Zoom lineup.

I have a Mazda CX-70 PHEV Premium coming in to me next week from Japan
I special order my new vehicles from Germany or Japan because no dealer has ever allocated or been allocated a vehicle in the color combination (zero black int./ext.) and equipment levels (as many performance options & as few luxury amenities as is possible). I have been called a spoiled jerk (or worse), but the idea of spending more than $50K and settling for whatever’s on dealers’ lots in their existing stock makes me throw up just a little bit!😢

It should have blind spot monitoring I believe.

Dude. You’re crazy if you don’t think the Turbo inline 6 isn’t powerful and doesn’t have the “Zoom Zoom”. I test drove one and was blown away with the power and driving experience.
Sounds like more of an Anti-Mazda ad to me.

Personally I’m not buying an SUV for it to be fast. I can buy buy a sports car for that

Mazdas known to play it conservative with their power delivery, I’m sure a tune would help wake it up reliably

Zoom-Zoom has a relativity component. How is it compared to other midsize SUVs? Bump to the Turbo S models and there is some serious zoomery.

Best Japanese brand. Toyota and Honda should learn from this - quality and luxury plus safety makes the Mazda

Love their designs but the engine is under engineered.

Why do I say that?

As I mentioned on other posts, the X5(and x3) have the 3.0L inline 6 with nearly 360hp.

In fact, the X3 x30(2.0L turbo) has nearly as much power as the detuned lower end model. It should really be no less than 320hp. 280 is a pretty big miss. The higher version should be around 380hp.

For the price everything seems great except their engine tuning.
