Semiconductor designer Advanced Micro Devices on Tuesday said it has agreed to buy Xilinx in a $35 billion all-stock deal. Matt Ramsay, managing director and senior research analyst at Cowen, joins CNBC's "The Exchange" to give his take on AMD's move on Xilinx.

What is FPGA good for ? will there be FPGA in our PCs? or what ? what will we do with FPGA, anyway?
nobody answers that at all.. as if they are just married for convenience's sakes.. or to benefit wealthy useless investors with safe bond or preferred shares ... to sit on faces of common sharheolders ?
