Would you eat avocado with sweet condensed milk?

We also add ice to have it as an icy treat during the hot Philippines weather! I still enjoy my avocado with sweet condensed milk every once in a while...condensed milk just hits different.

I have it savoury. I grew up in Melbourne Australia and here we have it always as a savoury dish. I love guacamole and avo toast, which is served here at almost every café, topped with olive oil, and a sprinkle of salt and chilli flakes.

But my girlfriend is Vietnamese and I only recently discovered that it can be used as a dessert! I thought she was joking when she made me an avo smoothie with condensed milk 😂

I still prefer it savoury though.

Same for me, I am from Brazil and avocado 🥑 is a desert, so at first once I saw Mexican food I thought it was very strange, but now I loved it. I came to the conclusion that avocado is good as savory or as a desert. Thank you for share this one, I will most definitely try it. 😃

So this is actually normal in indonesia. We have a drink called "alpukat kocok" Or avocado shake which is mashed avocado mixed with crushed ice and condensed milk. Theyre cheap and simple but they're really good

Try adding coco powder and sweetener of choice, I like stevia. Mix it until smooth and it's like chocolate pudding.

I can drink it as a smoothie still took me a while to adjust to avocado not being eaten savory style but I can't do it in just a bowl the texture is just crazy

In the Philippines we do have avocado graham cake, avocado milkshake/fruit shake, avocado ice cream, avocado ice candy and the classic avocado with milk (condensed, evaporated, cream or powdered). After mixing the two you have to refrigerate it or simply put some ice. I guess Avocado as a dessert is common in Southeast Asia.

The only avocado I grew up tasting is sweet because here in ph we basically use avocado for desserts

Grew up and my mom made it into a mushy avocado milkshake, sometimes in a bowl. I don't like it like that anymore because you taste the full avocado without it, and like you it took a while for me to get there.
