That comic backstory fits far better with the new version of Ghost. While the Og was this soldier with a mask on and a name he didn’t share too often, this new ghost is far more like the comic version.

Ghosts backstory is sad he said he lost someone he used to know when bombed a place but he's known as Simon Riley well I have a theory that in that bombing he left himself behind and wanted to be known as ghost. Sorry if my explanation makes no sense but I hope you can understand what I'm trying to say
